Chronicles of Vladimir Tod

Hey hey hey! Yeah, I know we've been on winter break and had 2 snow days but I recently bought a book that I've heard of before and I've seen people reading it but I never have! It's called The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod. It's about a boy who's half vampire and half human, he's like Bella and Edward's baby on Twilight. Sorry, had to mention them. He seems like a regular 13 year old but he is actually the future ruler of enslaving the human race. He lives off of blood bags from his aunt's hospital and raw meat that he gets. He believes that he's the only vampire left on earth but I think there's more than just him. I've only read about half the book and it doesn't say anything about any other vampires but it just cant be like that! There has to be more! So I have a few questions:

• Are there other vampires other than just Vlad?
• Is Vlad's father alive?
